Between launches, Prime Day and Black Friday are the reliable discount windows, and retailers bundle watches with phones at a discount around launches.

Fitness trackers from Fitbit, Garmin and Amazfit are discounted more freely and more often than smartwatches, and last year's tracker is usually most of the product for a fraction of the price. Check band size and whether cellular is included on smartwatch deals, since both change the price without changing the model name.
